My name is Mira Gardner and I am the maker of Peekaboo Bears. I have been making bears for about 5 years now, and have loved every minute of it.

Most of my inspiration comes from antique and vintage bears, although, I have been told, that you can see a bit of "real bear" in the faces of my bears.

I always use the finest materials I can find such as : quality English and German mohair, 100% wool felt, hand blown glass eyes and cotton stuffing. All of my bears are needlesculpted, aged, and shaded to bring out their individual characteristics. Each bear is a One-of-a-kind creation.
